Tax-Exempt Orders

If your organization is exempt from sales tax, we can process your orders tax-free once we have your documentation on file.

Who Qualifies?

Tax exemption varies by state, but typically includes:

  • Nonprofit organizations (501(c)(3) and others)
  • Schools and universities
  • Government agencies (local, state, federal)
  • Churches and religious organizations
  • Resellers with valid resale certificates

What You'll Need

To set up your tax-exempt account, provide one of the following:

  • Resale certificate – for businesses purchasing for resale
  • State exemption certificate – issued by your state's tax authority
  • IRS determination letter – for 501(c)(3) nonprofits
  • Government purchase documentation – for agency orders

Documentation must be valid for the state(s) where we're shipping your order.

How to Submit

  1. Email your exemption certificate to orders@promotionalproductsonline.com
  2. Include your organization name and contact information
  3. We'll confirm receipt and add the exemption to your account

Processing typically takes 1 business day.

After You're Approved

Once your documentation is on file, all future orders ship tax-free. Just place your order as usual—no need to resubmit paperwork each time.
