2D PVC Custom Keychains

Injection molded PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a soft, flexible rubber-like material that's shaped in a custom mold built from your artwork. Each color in the design is injected separately into the mold cavity, producing raised or recessed sections with crisp edges and vibrant Pantone-matched colors. The result is a dimensional, tactile product with a distinctive soft-touch feel.

Very durable. PVC is waterproof, flexible, and resistant to scratches, fading, and temperature changes. It won't crack or peel, even with daily handling. This makes PVC ideal for keychains, coasters, luggage tags, patches, and other items that travel or see regular use.

Most PVC products support up to 6–8 Pantone-matched colors per side. Each color is a separate injection, so fewer colors keep per-unit costs lower. Complex gradients and photographs aren't possible with this method — PVC works best with solid-color logo designs and bold graphics. If your design needs full photographic detail, a full-color printed option may be a better fit.

Clean, solid-color logos and bold graphic elements with well-defined shapes work best. Vector artwork (AI, EPS, or PDF) is ideal because it defines the exact color boundaries for the mold. Fine text under about 1mm stroke width and intricate single-line details can be difficult to reproduce in PVC. You'll get unlimited revisions until the design is exactly right, and production doesn't begin until you give your approval via email. In most cases, no. If you're reordering the same product with the same artwork and specifications, the setup charge is typically waived since we already have your artwork on file. Just mention it's a reorder when you place your order or request a quote, and we'll confirm.

For the best results, we recommend vector formats: AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, or vector PDF. These scale to any size without losing quality. We also accept high-resolution PNG, JPG, and raster PDF files — for screen printing and engraving, our design team can recreate your artwork as a production-ready vector at no extra charge. When in doubt, send what you have and we'll let you know if anything else is needed.

This product ships within 20 Business Days business days after proof approval. Production begins once you approve your free digital proof — we don't start until you're 100% happy with the design. For products that offer online design, you may waive the proof step if you're confident in your design, which can shave time off the overall timeline. Rush production is available on select items; ask us when requesting your quote.
